TARZAN trade paperbacks

Cover art by Mark Shultz interiors by the great Russ Manning. These books are actually reprints of Graphic novels Manning did that were put out in the UK many moons ago. Fantastic stuff. The reason I post these here is to urge you all to go out and find yourselves copies of these here little gems. Plus an extra added bonus...look at the the jungle girls on two of the books! La of Opar and JANE!!!

I was doing my thing...looking up art on the web to share on the blogs and came across these Yeates drawings....now...heres the thing the thing is this...this is the thing, The thing is this...
I have always loved Tom Yeates...ever since his back up features in DC comics WARLORD comic book. CLAW and DRAGONSWORD were my favorite and always thought to myself...he would be perfect for an entire series on either one of these characters. Recently I found a JOHN CARTER book with dozens of illustrations by the man....I was astounded by the beauty of the work. Not that I was surprised because Tom is awesome. Anyway...enjoy the art.
